We moved house last year & the garden was overgrown, full of weeds & always very wet. We started to investigate redeveloping & the name that kept coming up time after time was O’Rourke Landscaping. We gave them a ring & Tom dropped in, to chat through what was we were looking for, we said we were looking for an easy to maintain garden with a water feature. Tom made a number of suggestions, did a rough sketch, quoted a price & a start date. As per his vision, we now have a stunning landscaped garden with raised beds, meeting all of our requirements. We wanted to extend the fence past the back door which is located on the side of the house. Tom suggested, not only extending the fence but, putting a perspex roof on it, creating an extra cover storage / room area. True to his word, the work was carried out efficiently, cleanly, on price & with the utmost professionalism. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tom for any further work.

Tom provided landscaping services at our property in Westport and we were extremely happy with our finished garden. He has a wide range of machinery which helped Tom and his team access our back garden and work quickly. He cleaned down our house gable. Painted all our walls. Sourced fabulous doors for our new garden room. Sourced a beautiful Japanese maple tree, designed all our raised flower beds, a unique stone, bog oak and a lovely water fountain feature. He is continuing to tend to our lawn to help the greener grass grow. It looks healthier after every treatment. We could not be any happier with our garden. He is very professional. Tom O' Rourke Landscaping did a fantastic job on removing trees that were a danger to the public road, the building and overhead telephone and electric cables. The site was on a public road with tight access.
Tom organised for the power to be turned off with the ESB, so the job could be carried out. The trees were cut into firewood and the site left clean and tidy, using his specialist equipment.
I can not thank Tom enough for his effiency and workmanship. All this work was carried out whilst I was in the UK. However, Tom kept me informed of the progress daily and included photographs of the works.

So far you have safely and efficiently removed four huge cedars from my front garden, (incidentally providing me with enough logs for the next ten years), and managed to get our 15-foot leylandii hedges back under control and keep them there!

Tom recently removed a large leylandii hedge for me. His work through out was of a very high standard, with his years of experience showing through. He has all the machinery to do the work efficiently. He arrived the day he said he would and had the job completed in under two days. My lawn was very wet at the time and yet it wasn't damaged in any way. He gave great advice on the best type of hedge to replant. I would highly recommend Tom and his team for any gardening project.

Tom, and the team did an incredible job for us at a very reasonable cost. We had them in to do multiple jobs including tree removal and replacing an old fence with a new 3 rail fence. They work incredibly efficiently, are a pleasure to deal with and leave an incredible job at the end. We only wish we took a picture of the garden before they started because the difference is unbelievable.

I am trying to restore the old house my grandfather built in the 1930s which sits on about an acre of land. There used to be an orchard there years ago but time did away with it and the main things I wanted were to remove any dangerous/dead trees/branches and set the site up so when I replant the orchard, it will stand the best chance of thriving.
The trees are mature and massive so I knew I’d need someone with great experience, equipment and sensitivity - Tom and his team have this in abundance!
From the moment Tom came to see the site to talk through the project, I knew he was committed to do what was best for the place.
When the time came for the works to commence, it took a lot of unseen efforts (and a bit of groundwork for access purposes that seemed to happen in the blink of an eye) just to get the machinery to site and ready to carry out the excellent work that followed.
I would not hesitate in recommending O’Rourke Landscaping & Tree Services to anyone wishing to do anything to the outside of their houses to be honest - it seems like they have all the experience, know-how and care to achieve it all!
On top of all that - they are just lovely people and I’ll be delighted to require their services again.
